Just wanted to say thank you and recognize the countless contributions and tremendous sacrifice Veterans have given in the past and continue to give to this day. Our country and way of life would not be possible without them.

Well said Randy! While serving it is important to have some positive reinforcement from home. All to often the negativity that is in the news is all to demoralizing and inappropriate. Yes we are able to express our views and that is what we fight or have fought for to make this country. It is all to unfortunate that the news medias center up on the slightest bit of dissention and often dramatize it on the headlines that our troops in the battle field might see. On a more positive note our local legion has a free prime rib dinner tonight for veteran members as a special thanks to them, and there guests are only five dollars.
